When Being Resilient Isn't Enough: A Healing Space for Black Women
Women have always experienced inequalities in society, though these issues run deeper for women in the Black community. From stereotypes and quality of healthcare, to the value of our lives compared to white women. Through it all there is always the recognition of our resilience, but being strong takes a lot out of us, and we need to take some time to live without that weight. Join our Modern Health provider, Dr. Stacy Peebles for discussion, healing and celebration of our womanhood.
Open to all Black female-identifying individuals, this session will hold space for participants to share, relate and ask questions around the experiences of being a Black Woman. We strongly encourage cameras to be on during discussion based Circles to build community.

Destigmatizing Mental Health Among Black Men
Black men may experience life differently simply based on the color of their skin, the area they grew up in, the schools they attend, or even in the jobs they choose to have. Whether or not an individual is aware of the challenges they are up against, these forces, both invisible and visible, affect the mental health of each Black man. This Circle provides a safe environment for people of this community to discuss our experiences, learn about mental health, and discover ways to continue to grow.
This session is reserved for individuals who self-identify as a Black male. This will be a discussion-based session, so if you are looking for support and to connect with others, this is the format for you! We strongly encourage cameras to be on during discussion based Circles to build community.
