How Circles Work

What are Circles?
Circles are live group sessions led by Modern Health therapists. You'll walk away from each session with skills to navigate challenges that may be impacting your mental health — whether at work, at home, or in your personal relationships.

During each Circle, facilitators will start by sharing concepts to help you think differently, and offer tools that you can put into action right away.

Creating a Safe Space
All attendees are required to abide by our Code of Conduct.

Motherhood for Full-Time Moms with Young Kids
All moms are full-time moms and all moms are working moms.  Motherhood is 24/7 whether you are being paid for part of the work you do or not.  Being a mom during the pandemic is really hard, no matter what, and when balancing competing demands, moms tend to prioritize themselves last. Join this discussion-based session led by a Modern Health provider where you will connect with other stay-at-home moms to get support around the challenges you face daily mothering little ones and to learn ways you can make sure your needs aren’t forgotten in the process.
This session is open for individuals who identify as mothers (both women and non-binary). This will be a discussion-based session, so if you are looking for support and to connect with others, this is the format for you!

We Should All be Feminists: An Intersectional Approach
Have you ever felt like the label “feminist” doesn’t apply to you? Maybe you’ve felt left out by the movement or that there wasn’t room for you in it. Join this session, led by two Modern Health therapists, to learn what intersectional feminism is, why it’s vitally important in the quest for equality and justice, and why feminism is really everyone’s movement.
This session is open to individuals of all identities who want to learn more about intersectional feminism. This will be a Listen & Learn session, so if you are looking for in-depth learning on a topic and the chance to ask questions, this is the Circles format for you.
